Wild Mushroom Festivallong beach wa
The annual Wild Mushroom Festival kicks off mid-October and runs through the end of the month. As part of the festival, participating restaurants, inns and bed and breakfast establishments will offer daily wild mushroom specials. Wild mushroom workshops, field excursions and prix-fixe dinners will also be offered.

Wild Mushroom Wine Extravaganza
Boreas B&B Inn - Long Beach, WA
Friday - Sunday, October 17-19, 2008
Boreas Bed and Breakfast Inn's 2008 Wild Mushroom Celebration will be on the weekend of October 17th-19th. The cost is $555.00 per couple including taxes and restaurant gratuity. (The Dunes Suite is $22.16 extra.) Boreas' 5th Annual Wild Mushroom Celebration package includes 2 nights at Boreas Inn with two four-course 9:30 a.m. brunches as well as a very special (for Boreas guests weekend guests only) five-course Eastern Washington Wine and Wild Mushroom Dinner at The Port Bistro on the Port of Ilwaco on Saturday night, the 18th. The wine courses will be perfectly paired with each course. The Sunday morning festivities will top off the weekend with Boreas' annual "Wild Mushroom Celebration Breakfast with Veronica", for Boreas Inn Celebration guests only, with wild mushroom expert Veronica Williams as well as a Wild Mushroom informal discussion in the living room with Veronica at 11:00 a.m. that is open to the public on Sunday, the 19th. Stay a third night at Boreas at a discounted rate of $140 plus tax!

Five Course Wild Mushroom Chef's Tasting Menu
The Port Bistro will offer a five course chef's tasting menu featuring wild mushrooms every day from Thursday October 16th until Sunday November 16th. In addition, a flight of matched wines by the glass will be available.

Wild Mushroom Wine Dinner Featuring Brickhouse Winery
Tuscany Café –Ilwaco, Washington
Each weekend throughout the Wild Mushroom Celebration, Tuscany Café located at the Port of Ilwaco will offer traditional Italian cuisine highlighting wild mushroom varieties. On November 6, 2008, Tuscany Café will host a Wild Mushroom Winemaker's Dinner featuring the Mary Hill Winery of Goldendale, Washington. A five-course dinner will highlight a wide variety of wild mushrooms and wine pairings with each course will be expertly recommended. Cost of the Wild Mushroom dinner will be $35 per person or $60 per couple. Menu items will also be available. For reservations or information, call (360) 642-4899.
