Boreas Bed and Breakfast Inn's 2008 Wild Mushroom Celebration will be on the weekend of October 17th-19th. The cost is $555.00 per couple including taxes and restaurant gratuity. (The Dunes Suite is $22.16 extra.) Boreas' 5th Annual Wild Mushroom Celebration package includes 2 nights at Boreas Inn with two four-course 9:30 a.m. brunches as well as a very special (for Boreas guests weekend guests only) five-course Eastern Washington Wine and Wild Mushroom Dinner at The Port Bistro on the Port of Ilwaco on Saturday night, the 18th. The wine courses will be perfectly paired with each course. The Sunday morning festivities will top off the weekend with Boreas' annual "Wild Mushroom Celebration Breakfast with Veronica", for Boreas Inn Celebration guests only, with wild mushroom expert Veronica Williams as well as a Wild Mushroom informal discussion in the living room with Veronica at 11:00 a.m. that is open to the public on Sunday, the 19th. Each weekend throughout the Wild Mushroom Celebration, Tuscany Café located at the Port of Ilwaco will offer traditional Italian cuisine highlighting wild mushroom varieties. On November 6, 2008, Tuscany Café will host a Wild Mushroom Winemaker's Dinner featuring the Mary Hill Winery of Goldendale, Washington. A five-course dinner will highlight a wide variety of wild mushrooms and wine pairings with each course will be expertly recommended.
