In the land of clams, crab and oysters what are folks looking forward to in June? Garlic, and plenty of it! Celebrate the passion for this exalted bulb with the faithful throngs who make their annual pilgrimage to the NW Garlic Festival..

This Garlic Olympics of Gastronomy is not held for the region's Garlic growing ability. This Festival was born out of love of great, garlic-laden cuisine and fabulous wine to go with (and stand up to) it!

ATTRACTIONS Garlic Food & Condiments A variety of garlic foods to tickle your taste buds Garlic Games How many cloves can you peel? Games are conducted by the Clove Brothers and their helpers. Garlic Crafts Imagination is the operative word for the variety of garlic crafts here!

Activities: Garlic Vendors with Arts and Crafts items, Garlic Food, Garlic Condiments that can be tested on grounds and taken home, Garlic games for adults and children.

Types of food incorporating garlic so far are: Garlic Goat Cheese, Garlic Churros, Garlic Bettered Deep Fried Mushrooms, Garlic Hummus, Garlic Catfish, Olives with Garlic, Garlic Cashews & Pistachios, Garlic Teriyaki and Deep Fried Garlic w/Garlic Burgers.

Some of the crafts include Garlic earrings, Garlic magnets, Garlic Garden markers, Garlic Coffee Mugs, Strung Garlic, Garlic Wreaths, Garlic Press, etc. besides the usual craft items vendors bring to festivals.

The Ocean Park Area Chamber of Commerce has a few of the 25th Anniversary Garlic Cook Books available and they are going fast. You will be able to pick one up at the Festival along with the Ocean Park Signature Totes.
