The Ilwaco Harbour Village at the Port of Ilwaco, Washington is pleased to announce it's “Oktoberfest” in September Artwalk. Help us celebrate the fall while it’s still warm on Thursday September 6th from 5 to 8 pm. These popular themed events are always lots of fun with refreshments, music, new art and our great free raffle featuring terrific gifts and coupons from all our Port merchants.

Shoalwater Cove Gallery is hosting this event and will present a special preview and artist’s reception for Shelly Hedges, and Melanie Thompson. The exhibition includes intriguing mixed media works utilizing recycled and found materials and fibers, by Ocean Park, Washington artist, Shelly Hedges. In addition, colorful organic forms in clay will be shown by Melanie Thompson from Hood River, Oregon. Both artists will be on hand to meet and greet visitors.

The Wade Gallery’s house artist Bruce Peterson, just back from his recent tour of the Netherlands, is premiering an exciting photographic series of “Dutch Treats”.

The Crew House Gallery is featuring an exhibition of original paintings by owner artist, Don Nisbett. Don’t miss this extensive selection

Time Enough Books is featuring former Oysterville resident Sharon Montoya-Welsh’s newest update of her best-selling 1984 cookbook, Oyster Cookery with both traditional and modern recipes that highlight the delicate flavor of this pesky bivalves. With fun facts and charming commentary, this book is sure to become the choice cookbook for any oyster enthusiast. Sharon will be on hand to sign copies of her book and to renew old acquaintances.

The Imperial Schooner Restaurant is going to feature the oil paintings of Long Beach artist Rose Power. While you're at the Imperial Schooner, stop and enjoy all their great dishes and their new line of Northwest beers and wines.

The Bistro at the Port is thrilled to present an the Oktoberfest inspired culinary treat, “Jager Schnitzel”, as well as live music.

Besides yummy specials the Tuscany Cafe will have an eclectic selection of work by local artists.
So come on down to the harbor with friends and neighbors. Meet the artists, enjoy the music and a beautiful evening stroll along Waterfront Way.
