SUMMER ARTS FESTIVAL…TREASURES AT THE BEACH
Inspired Creations are to be found just steps from the ocean in Long Beach, Washington. Peninsula Arts Association (PAA), a thirty-eight year old group with over 125 members, hosts its first Summer Art Festival ~ Arts and Crafts Sale the weekend of July 25, 26 and 27, at the Edgewater Inn meeting hall. Located on Sid Snyder Drive, the southernmost beach approach in Long Beach, the art and craft sale features original work from many of PAA’s members .
“We have such wonderful items in the Inspired Creations section of our spring and fall art shows, it just seemed the time was right to add a summer event,” said PAA president Bonnie Cozby. “ It was a happy coincidence to find our new event is happening the same weekend as Sandsations. Many of our artists are working on beach themed creations”.
Original art, jewelry, art cards, stained glass, ceramics, prints and fiber arts are just a small sample of the handcrafted, art inspired wares that will be available at the festival. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with the artists. Extended evening hours on Friday and Saturday make it the perfect place to stroll after dinner. Parking is plentiful and admission is FREE!
