The 26th Season of SHANGHAIED IN ASTORIA ! ! !

Have you heard all about it? The Astor Street Opry Company's Live on Stage… Award Winning…Family Entertainment…That Original…Historical, Hysterical…Broadway-Style…Musical Melodrama… SHANGHAIED IN ASTORIA!

This locally written play is part-vaudeville, part-soap opera, and part 1950's style Hollywood musical – all combined into a fun and entertaining look at traditional local cultural folklore.  What originated as a celebration of Astoria tradition has now become a tradition itself and you won't want to miss it!

The 26th  Season of SHANGHAIED IN ASTORIA sponsored this season by The Medical Spa LaCost Opens July 8th 2010 and runs thru Sept 11th 2010 with Sunday Matinees July 25th, August 8th  and Sept. 5th all at The ASOC Playhouse, 129 West Bond Street, Uniontown Astoria.(Right behind the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce).

The show runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with the box office opening at 6:30pm, doors at 7:00pm and  show time 7:30pm. On Sunday Matinees the box opens at 1:00pm, doors at 1:30pm and show time 2:00pm.  Please remember there is no late seating! Tickets for classic Shanghaied are $20.00 to $16.00 with discounts for seniors, children and groups.

And in case you did not know our 2nd Annual JUNIOR SHANGHAIED performed by kids ages 8 to 14 and sponsored by KAST 1370AM has only 2 more shows left! This coming Saturday evening June 26th at 7:30pm and Sunday June 27th Matinee at 2:00pm. Tickets are only $10.00 for adult and $6.00 for kids 12 and under!

Also available at both shows, for your eating & drinking pleasure,  Miss Vivian's Saloon features: fine local brew from Fort George Brewery, hotdogs & chips, popcorn, soda pop, locally made candy & more!
