Sometimes finding a handicap accessible place can be very difficult, particularly in a smaller town. On August 12, 2004, my husband and I were married in Long Beach. The peninsula has a special meaning to us, and we wanted to have a close, intimate ceremony with only immediate family somewhere very private and comfortable. It was a bit overwhelming to plan at first, until we found your wedding planner on funbeach.com. We held the ceremony at A Rendezvous Place Bed and Breakfast, and were thrilled with the assistance and support we were offered by everyone in the area. The people at the visitor's bureau were so friendly and helpful, and we truly feel that we would not have been able to have the day we were able to have without the wonderful people who we spoke to. Since then, we have referred two couples to the area for their weddings, and go back at least 2-3 times every year. It's not just the activities, food, and beach that have kept us coming back, but the people who work there to keep the Long Beach Peninsula a great place! Thank you! We will be visiting the second week of July and would love to have a packet of information especially the great detailed map found on the website. I grew up on the Peninsula and now live in San Francisco. I am 34 and have been going to Long Beach since 1966. We have a piece of property there. I learned how to drive at the beach, explored and have had many enjoyable times with family and friends. Thank you for the web site. I have it on my favorites and visit often. Now I live in Yakima and can visit only once a year. But when I am bored, sad or need a lift I can visit the website anytime and be lifted up with enjoyment.
