The Peninsula boasts the world's largest clam pan, a frying pan once used in a Peninsula Clam Festival and now displayed in a downtown Long Beach park. Many wooden carvings of sea life dot the main streets of this town.
Additional recreational activities in the area include an active bowling alley and the River City School's dance lessons in Ilwaco and tennis courts and softball fields up and down the Peninsula. Freshwater and saltwater fishing opportunities abound; don't miss the best charter fishing on the west coast out of Ilwaco! Take surfing lessons, visit our local card room or casino, play a rousing round of paintball or lazer tag, and get an old-tyme photo taken as a memento of your stay. On Friday and Saturday nights, we turn down the lights and pump up the volume during our “Galactic Bowl” program. Have your next birthday party, group function or family gathering with us.
